There are many more longer words, which could be added to these lists. A lot of them are compound nouns that use the shorter words found here. For example, we have the word spin in these lists but not the words spinoff, spinout, or tailspin.

SP blends words with pictures
Below are 32 free printable flashcards that you can use to teach these blends and use to play fun educational games. The easiest and most common words with SP blends have been used to make them suitable for ESL students and younger English language learners.
One fun activity for students is to arrange these pictures. Print and cut the cards out before giving them to a learner or small team. Their task is to arrange the words in alphabetical order. Ask them to read the cards aloud when they have finished. You don’t need to use all the cards for this, just a small number of them is fine.
Practice sentences
