Sea turtle coloring pages

Did you know that it is a super-hard struggle for baby sea turtles. It is estimated that only one in every 1,000 of them survives until adulthood, and it is very unlikely for them to reach a possible maximum age of 100 years (depending on the species).
After spending between one and a half months to over 2 months as hatchlings, they emerge into a dangerous world. Their situation is precarious because of predators, excessive heat, ocean conditions, fishing nets, and pollution.
Realistic sea turtle coloring pages
Next, we have some realistic sea turtle drawings that have these animals swimming underwater. There are also some ocean plants, such as sea grass and kelp, in the pictures, which add nice details.
Green sea turtles are herbivores that live on kelp, seagrass, and algae. Other species eat different things. For example, leatherbacks love jellyfish, hawksbills mostly eat sponges, and loggerheads find crunchy crustaceans, such as crabs and lobsters, delicious.
You can, of course, color in your sea turtles however you like, but they do have some interesting natural hues if you are going for a realistic approach. There are 7 kinds of sea turtles in our oceans that have different shell colorations ranging from browns and olives to greys and blacks. Some even have yellow stripes.
A young sea turtle is also often colored differently from an older one, and adults can gain bright algae on their backs. Here are a couple of pictures below to give you a clear idea.
