Animal footprints activity

These fun activities are great for kids although some older students do enjoy them also! Everyone loves animals and looking at animal tracks is a good way to identify them.
They are very simple, just match the animal tracks with the correct animal names. They really get the learners thinking about the vocabulary which is great for their language retention. The second animal footprint puzzle is harder and the third is quite challenging.

Animal footprints puzzle 2
This second puzzle requires the students to write the animal names and then match them with their footprints. The animal names haven’t been given, so if you need to – write them in random on the board to help your class.
Students can either draw lines to match with the animal tracks or write their corresponding letters.

Animal Footprints 3
This activity is the hardest yet with 16 animal footprints to be named. The animal names have been given to make it somewhat easier.
