B tongue twisters
Here is a collection of B tongue twisters for pronunciation practice and speech therapy. You can also use these tongue twisters with B as fun warmer and cooler activities in your ESL classes.
There are both short and long twisters in this list that you can choose from to find the most suitable ones for your students. With the shorter tongue twisters, see if your class can say them 3 or 5 times in a row without making a mistake.
The B tongue twisters are –
1- Double bubble gum bubbles double.
2 – Black spot on a black back of a black spotted bass.
3 – The big black-backed bumblebee.
4 – A black-backed bath brush.
5 – Black bug’s blood.
6 – Good blood, bad blood.
7 – As one black bug, bled blue, black blood. The other black bug bled blue.
8 – A big blue bucket of blue blueberries.
9 – Belgian brothers biking for big business bank budgets.
10 – The bootlick brought the book back.
11 – Bobby buries bundles of beer bottles in burrows.
12 – Black background, brown background.
13 – Buckets of bug blood.
14 – It’s bad behaviour to bathe in baths with bowls.
15 – Busy buzzing bumble bees.
16 – The busy bee buzzed the buzzy busy beehive.
17 – A boot shiner blacks boots with a black blacking brush.
18 – A big black bug bit a big black dog on his big black nose.
19 – Boys behaving like a babbling, bumbling band of baboons.
20 – Barbarians boarded boats by the blustering bluff after being beaten in a battle on the beach.
21 – Brisk brave brigadiers brandished broad bright blades, blunderbusses, and bludgeons.
22 – Broken back brake block.
23 – Barbara burned the brown bread badly.
24 – Blame the big bleak black book!
25 – Bake big batches of bitter brown bread.
26 – Betty Botter bought some butter. But, she said, the butter’s bitter.
If I put it in my batter. It will make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter. That would make my batter better.
So she bought a bit of butter. Better than her bitter butter.
And she put it in her batter. And the batter was not bitter.
So it was better Betty Botter Bought a bit of better butter.
27 – The batter with the butter is the batter that is better!
28 – I bought a bit of baking powder and baked a batch of biscuits. I brought
a big basket of biscuits back to the bakery and baked a basket of big biscuits.
Then I took the big basket of biscuits and the basket of big biscuits and mixed the big
biscuits with the basket of biscuits that was next to the big basket and put a bunch
of biscuits from the basket into a biscuit mixer and brought the basket of biscuits
and the box of mixed biscuits and the biscuit mixer to the bakery and opened a tin
of sardines.
29 – Bob’s building brick buildings by Botany Bay.
30 – Once upon a barren moor. There lived a bear and a boar.
The bear could not bear the boar. The boar thought the bear a bore.
At last the bear could bear no more. That boar that bored him on the moor.
And so one morning he bored the boar. That boar will bore the bear no more.
31 – Beautiful babbling brooks bubble between blossoming banks.
32 – Bonnie Bliss blows big beautiful blue bubbles.
33 – How many berries could a bare berry carry, if a bare berry could carry berries?
34 – A beaver bit a bass as a big barracuda bit a beaver.
35 – Betty and Bob brought back blue balloons from the big bazaar.
36 – A box of biscuits, a box of mixed biscuits, and a biscuit mixer.
37 – Boxer Bob was beaten badly in all big boxing bouts.
38 – Round brown bread
39 – A black back bat.
40 – The big black bug bit the big black bear, but the big black bear bit the big black bug back!
41 – Too big a toboggan is too big a toboggan to buy to begin to toboggan.
42 – Bill had a billboard, Bill also had a board bill. The billboard bored Bill so Bill sold the billboard to pay for the board bill.
43 – A bitter biting bittern bit a better biting bittern.
And the better biting bittern bit the bitter biting bittern back.
Said the bitter biting bittern to the better biting bittern
“I’m a bitter biting bittern bitten back”.
44 – Betty bought brown boots but Billy bought bigger boots.
45 – Bumble bees and bullfrogs, bumble bees and bullfrogs, bumble bees and bullfrogs.
