Lightning is a wonderful thing to watch. These natural flashes of electricity in the sky dazzle the eyes with their speed and brightness. They are a far more common phenomenon than most people expect, somewhere in the world there is lightning striking the planet every second of every day.
It makes for a great subject for arts and crafts projects, and this collection of printable lightning bolt templates is just what you need to get started. There are many fun uses for these free templates and outlines of lightning. Here are a few ideas that hopefully help spark your creativity.
Weather murals and posters. These can be created on walls or large sheets of paper or cardboard. You will for sure want to add some of the printable cloud templates to these kinds of projects.
Superhero lightning. Quick as a flash kids can make a lighting badge with a small template or a large crest for their chests with a large one. The bolts can also decorate masks and other costumes.
