Printable lightning bolt templates
There are many fun uses for these free templates and outlines of lightning. Here are a few ideas that hopefully help spark your creativity.
Weather murals and posters. These can be created on walls or large sheets of paper or cardboard. You will for sure want to add some of the printable cloud templates to these kinds of projects.
Superhero lightning. Quick as a flash kids can make a lighting badge with a small template or a large crest for their chests with a large one. The bolts can also decorate masks and other costumes.
Stickers. Color and cut out some of the small templates and use them to decorate an object such as a basket, box, balloon, or book.
Stenciling. Cut out the bolts so that you can paint their stencils anywhere you like. This can be done with either spray paint or paints and brushes.
Bookmarks. Make lightning-shaped bookmarks that children can use at both home and school. Note that it is best to use cardstock for this.
Coloring pages. The lightning flashes can be used as coloring pages for young learners who only need a simple shape to color in. To make this more challenging you can teach and demonstrate shading with different hues of one particular color.
Realistic lightning bolt templates
