These picture quizzes are a hit in every class and are enjoyable for all ages. If you can’t print these out in colour, greyscale works fine although it does make them more difficult. Consider using a projector for these, especially with lower-level classes. All the answers have been provided.
The latest update includes 2 new hard picture quizzes, picture puzzles 7 and 8!
You may find that you will need to give the class clues. There are many ways to do this. You could simply give students the answers in a random order but that makes it very easy. It is better to just give them 3 or 4 words for help. You could also write a descriptive sentence for each object. For example “picture 1 is a vegetable, people cut them out at Halloween” and so on.
The activity works best with teams of 2 or 3 competing against each other. The students see things differently from each other and often get very chatty. Consider using all 3 worksheets in a 3 round quiz – it is great for a bit of end-of-semester fun or an entertaining way to fill up 25 extra minutes or so.

1 – pumpkin, 2 – can, 3 – basketball, 4 – cheese, 5 – corn, 6 – pencils, 7 – books, 8 – crocodile or alligator, 9 – flower or sunflower, 10 – giraffe.
