As language activities, these cards can be used well for both sorting and practising comparatives. The most obvious, of course, is to arrange the cards into groups of sports, games, and unrelated. You can take that further and ask learners to find things that are in nature, a material they are made from. Sorting into size groups is another useful way to arrange the cards.
