The xenosaurus is a lizard that can be found in rocky areas of Central America. They don’t grow that big, only up to a foot in length. These reptiles like to eat insects.

The Xenopus, or African clawed frog, lives in freshwater parts of the sub-Saharan region and actually has more than 20 different species. They can regenerate body parts such as legs and eyes and are used extensively in scientific research.

The xyster is also known as the banded guitar fish due to its shape. They live in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.

There are 31 species of Xenarthra alive today. These include animals such as armadillos, sloths, and anteaters. They all live in Latin America except for the nine-banded armadillo, which is found in the southern USA.
