Hanging mobiles – Once you have decorated a few of the outlines you can suspend them on a stick with string to make a nice elephant mobile.

Collage templates – Fill in the elephant shapes with a collage of pictures. The subject is entirely up to you!

Painting/Coloring shapes – For kids, the elephant outlines are an easy way to start learning how to use colored pencils and paints. It doesn’t really matter if learners go outside the lines if you plan to cut them out later.

Puzzles – For a simple puzzle you can cut the elephants into several pieces and ask children to reassemble them. This activity can be as easy or as difficult as you like, it depends on how many pieces you cut the pictures into.

Tracing – Use the outlines as tracing templates. You can put a light sheet of paper over the top for this. For a similar activity, check out the free animal tracing worksheets.
