Sharks are a type of fish with a reputation for being very aggressive and dangerous. This is true for some species, but in many cases, sharks pose no threat to people at all. Here we have some cute shark coloring pages in which ocean animals are all happy and smiling.

There are shark coloring sheets for all ages with a variety of different shark species. The pictures have sharks in different underwater environments that vary in detail.

Did you know that July 14th each year is Shark Awareness Day? It is intended to be a day to educate people about sharks and how they are important to our planet’s bodies of water. While there are over 1000 different species of sharks, many of them are now sadly endangered due to human activity, such as commercial fishing and habitat destruction.

There are said to be 9 different species of these sharks with funny-shaped heads, and they rarely attack people. Another interesting fact is that they cannot see directly in front of them due to their eye being on opposite sides of their skulls.

These sharks are the largest fish in the world and can grow to over 12 meters in length. Despite their name, they are not related to whales at all, whales are mammals!
